RECENT ACTIVITIES
Scottish Games Frenzy (2024)...
I Recently Attended the Scottish Games Frenzy with a colleague, where we explored various games and participated in insightful roundtable discussions. We learned about updates to the Video Games Expenditure Credit, gaining valuable insights into game tax credits and industry networking strategies.
Additionally, we enjoyed gameplay experiences, including an immersive adventure set in a beautifully crafted fantasy world, as well as an energetic VR action-platformer featuring challenging obstacle courses.
Wellness Game Lab Internship...
"Serenity Stones" is an immersive and reflective game developed as part of my summer 2024 internship with the Wellness Game Lab project. Working in a small team of 4, we designed the game over the course of two months. The project was initiated by MoodForest, a company dedicated to enhancing physical and mental well-being through interactive experiences, in collaboration with Skills Café, an organization that bridges the gap between education and real-world application.
The game focuses on promoting mental wellness by providing players with a calm, meditative environment. Players stack stones in various tranquil themes while reflecting on balance in their own lives, choosing between two scenarios centered around balanced diet and work-life balance.
With multiple themes to explore and features that allow players to customize their reflections, Serenity Stones is more than just a game—it’s an experience aimed at fostering mindfulness and self-reflection.
Serenity Stones is free to play here on my website (Only accessible through PC browser) or you can follow the below link to the Itch.io page...
